When you donate
How the books arrive in the Caribbean:
Our team at Upcycle Books checks each book donated and sorts the books into categories of age and year group. This is then packed into barrels.
When a school has been selected we load and ship the relevant books, this is sent via sea. This process can take up to 3/4 weeks.
Once in the Caribbean, the receiver will clear the books through customs before offloading.
The books are delivered to the allocated school or community group. Schools are asked to send a report with images within 3 weeks of arrival.
